I took my 90 tt to the track for the first time yesterday. It was an 1/8 track and I ran a consistant 8.10 @ 86mph which is pretty good for intake, exhaust, and z1 ecu. But I was reving in neutral and throwing it into drive. Its the only way I could get any starting power. I know the transmission won't take much of this. I've searched to try and find what to do to get this think to rev at the line and make some boost. What do most people do? Is there a way to lock up the converter, a transmission lock like in drag cars, or do you have to buy a stall? No boost on takeoff=SLOW. Thanks for any help, I'm still new to the 300zx world.
